Over the years, MUVE has worked with groups of young people to explore and protect the environment through projects like coastal habitat restoration, citizen science, coastal cleanups, mapping, arts and crafts, and more! Our objective is to foster a deeper understanding of the connections between people and the environment through outreach opportunities and conservation education activities in the field, in the classroom, and at local events.

We travel offsite to discuss the importance of coastal environments and help schools develop environmental initiatives. We introduce citizen science initiatives at our events, like the City Nature Challenge, iNaturalist, and CleanSwell, and we encourage our volunteers to engage in these initiatives at home. Find out how you can earn service hours, bring MUVE to your school, and support our environmental programs below!
