Engagements
Four engagements will be completed throughout the academic year and will result in M-DCPS STEM Designation for participating schools.

Field Trip to Frost Science (all-inclusive)
Each elementary school will receive a field trip to the museum for up to 45 3rd-5th grade students. The field trip will include:
- Bus costs
- A Learning Lab
- Access to all museum exhibitions

Teacher Professional Development
All teachers part of the Frost Science STEM Designation program will participate in a professional learning experience at the museum, where they will learn about current science and be given access to standards-aligned lesson plans to use in their classrooms.

Meet the Museum Scientist (virtual)
This opportunity will connect students and teachers to experts in various science disciplines at the museum. Students will learn about careers in STEM and ask questions about environmental conservation, paleontology, and aquarium or animal care. STEM Designation schools will complete two of these engagements.
