In recognition of America250, the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence, Frost Science celebrates 250 years of American scientific discovery and innovation through a museum-wide poster exhibition.
From Amelia Earhart’s pioneering flights and Jonas Salk’s life-saving polio vaccine to University of Miami scientists advancing coral reef and shark conservation, discover the stories of 250 American innovators, creative thinkers, and changemakers whose curiosity and ingenuity have helped shape our understanding of the world.
Explore posters throughout the museum highlighting breakthroughs in marine science, human health, aeronautics and flight, paleontology, and astronomy, each displayed alongside related exhibitions to connect these stories with the science you can experience today.
Begin your journey in the museum’s Atrium, then discover each themed section throughout the museum:
