Be the first to experience our newest special exhibition, Extreme Sports, Beyond Human Limits, during an exclusive members-only evening on Friday, May 15, from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Test your reaction time, experiment with balance and coordination, measure your grip strength, and learn how psychology, biology, physics, and technology combine to fuel determination in sports. With Miami-Dade County set to host a jam-packed season of global sporting moments in 2026, including FIFA World Cup 2026™ matches right here in the Magic City, there’s no better time to celebrate the power of sport.
Come Dressed to Play: In celebration of the exhibition, we invite you to wear your favorite jersey or sports-inspired attire to the members-only preview. Show your team pride and immerse yourself in the science of sport!

- Parking is available in the museum garage for an $8 flat rate with validation starting at 6:00 p.m.

- Event check-in begins at 7:00 p.m. at the main entrance. Please have your membership card and photo ID ready.
Extreme Sports: Beyond Human Limits was developed and produced by Science North, Sudbury, Ontario, Canada in partnership with the Ontario Science Centre.
Members must be logged into their accounts to reserve tickets. Admission to the Members-Only Preview is free and only open to members and their guests (accounts with guest privileges will be allowed the appropriate number of guests to accompany the member) on a first-come, first-served basis. All members must have a valid membership card and show a photo ID upon entrance. Only those listed on the membership account will be permitted into the event. The museum closes to the public at 6:00 p.m.
