Be the first to experience our newest special exhibition, AI: More Than Human, during an exclusive members-only evening on Friday, May 30, from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Through interactive exhibits and authentic artifacts,  AI: More Than Human is designed to challenge your preconceptions of artificial intelligence and how it impacts our world. Explore the historical roots of the quest to develop AI and discover how it shapes our lives today. From the ChatGPT enthusiast to AI skeptic, this exhibition has something for everyone.

Onsite parking is available in the museum garage for an $8 flat rate with validation starting at 6:00 p.m. All cars must exit the garage by 10:30 p.m. Member parking discount does not apply. 

Admission to Member Evenings is free and only open to members and their guests (accounts with guest privileges will be allowed the appropriate number of guests to accompany the member) on a first-come, first-served basis. All members must have a valid membership card and show a photo ID upon entrance. Only those listed on the membership account will be permitted into the event. The museum closes to the public at 6:00 p.m.

Minds of Tomorrow
Time: 7:00 p.m. to 8:45 p.m.
Location: Atrium, Level 1
Join Minds of Tomorrow for an exciting hands-on experience in artificial intelligence and game strategy. In this interactive station, kids and families will explore the power of AI through the classic game of Tic Tac Toe.

Food & Beverage

Location: Ocean Gallery, Level 1

Who Drew That?
Time: 7:00 p.m. to 8:45 p.m.
Location: Hsiao Family Special Exhibition Gallery, Level 1
Take control of a BeeBot and navigate through a maze of obstacles, racing to pollinate flowers just like real bees do in nature. Can you help these vital pollinators keep the ecosystem buzzing?

To Space and Back
Time: 7:20 p.m., 8:00 p.m., 8:40 p.m.
Location: Frost Planetarium, Level 1
Seating is first come, first served. Capacity is limited.
To Space and Back explores the story of human ingenuity and incredible engineering. Learn how the technology that transports us through space is paving the way for the devices and apps we use every day. What’s happening above is coming back down to Earth! (25 minutes)

How Does AI Learn?
Time: 7:45 p.m. to 8:45 p.m.
Location: Atrium, Level 1
Get hands on with exploring some of the ways AI models are trained. Then contribute to the world’s largest doodling data set with Quick, Draw, a web-based platform which helps researchers train new neural networks and see patterns in how people draw.
