This America250-themed Laser Evening in the Frost Planetarium features a dynamic lineup of immersive laser shows celebrating iconic summer hits, unforgettable movie soundtracks, the legends of the British Invasion, and revolutionary American artists who have shaped the soundtrack of our lives.

Movie Magic
Laser Movie Magic brings favorite songs from popular family films and reimagines them using vibrant laser light. Experience favorite hits in an entirely new way. Laser Movie Magic pulls from the soundtracks of The Lion King, Star Wars, Encanto, Frozen, Moana and many more.
Summer Anthems
Summer’s here and the time is right for…LASERS! Chill out in our air-conditioned planetarium while enjoying some of the hottest summertime classics and modern hits. Artists include Bad Bunny, The Beach Boys, U2, Taylor Swift, and more.
British Invasion
The British are coming, and they’re bringing some amazing music! The ‘60s saw a wave of British acts make it big in the US, led by The Beatles. They dominated US charts for years, leaving a permanent impact on modern music. Rolling Stones, Black Sabbath, David Bowie, Elton John, are all names that reverberate across music history. The sun never sets on good music!
American Revolution
Celebrate the artists who helped shape the soundtrack of America. From the legendary guitar riffs of Jimi Hendrix and Aerosmith to the chart-topping hits of Beyoncé, Michael Jackson and Prince, this star-spangled laser show brings together iconic songs from across the decades in a dazzling celebration of American music.
Refreshments and light snacks will be available for purchase in the Main Atrium until 10 p.m.
Onsite parking is available in the museum garage for $8 flat rate starting at 6:00 p.m. on all Laser Evenings. All cars must exit garage by 12:00 a.m. Member parking discount does not apply.
*Each Laser Evening show must be purchased separately; online sales for laser shows go offline an hour before showtime but can be purchased onsite up to 15 minutes before start of laser show. Laser show admission includes laser glasses. Admission to laser shows does not include museum admission. Museum exhibitions close at 6:00 p.m.
