Join Frost Science during Spring Camp for a new, Counselor-in-Training (CIT) program that invites middle school students to gain leadership skills, learn about various science disciplines, and create a scientific resource or community action project under the guidance of a mentor.
CITs will explore their interests in science, build their resumes, become young leaders in STEM, gain community service hours, and receive a recommendation letter for their time as a CIT.
During Spring Camp, CITs will develop a science-based activity for Frost Science campers, aligning to the theme of the week or to a science topic of interest to the CIT. At the end of the week, CIT’s will lead and facilitate the activity they developed to a group of campers.
