Sunday, August 16: Historic Virginia Key Beach Park
Embark on a Florida coastline adventure with Frost Science at Historic Virginia Key Beach Park! Families will explore one of Florida’s most iconic ecosystems and learn about the animals and plants that call it home. Through engaging, hands-on activities, families will discover the importance of coastal conservation while connecting with nature. It’s sea turtle nesting season, so families may even see a sea turtle next with the MORAES of South Florida sea turtle conservation team.
Special activities will be presented in collaboration with Frost Science’s Museum Volunteers for the Environment (MUVE) program and MORAES of South Florida.
