Enjoy a free science fair featuring science projects, presentations, exhibitors and more as part of the museum’s STEM Challenge, an engineering design challenge for middle and high school students.
Saturday, May 1: STEM Challenge Expo
The Expo is the culminating event of the Frost Science STEM Challenge, a year-long education initiative that invites students and teachers to dive into real-world, STEM-focused investigation. This year’s challenge asked students to design solutions to real-world issues related to sustainable energy generation and use. These issues are relevant to scientists in the fields of marine science, health, astronomy, and geology.
Join us to explore solutions to real-world issues related to sustainable energy generation and use created by the next generation of decision makers, leaders, and change-makers.
Student projects that have passed the first round of judging will be invited to attend the STEM Challenge Expo, where students will present their projects to a panel of judges and to museum guests.
- Museum admission is not required to attend the STEM Challenge Expo.
- This is a free event held in the Hsiao Family Special Exhibition Gallery on the first floor of the museum.
- This event does not include museum admission.
