Teachers will be trained on the STEM Challenge curriculum and will learn about the resources provided to support them in the 2026-2027 Frost Science STEM Challenge. The STEM Challenge engages students in an engineering-design-based program that culminates in an Expo at the museum, where students present their work to content expert judges. Winning students will win scholarships to Florida public universities.
Teachers who participate in the STEM Challenge receive:
- $500 stipend
- Field trip with busses for up to 30 students
- Virtual “Meet the Museum Scientist” programs
- Outreach to your classroom
Register for the STEM Challenge here. M-DCPS teachers will also need to register for Master Plan Points on their educator portal.
