For this month’s Laser Evening, we’re kicking things off with a special Lost Weekend Planetarium Experience celebrating the release of Grammy Award winner Phoebe Bridgers’ new album. Part of a weeklong series bringing fans together inside planetariums around the globe, the experience is offered at 7:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m., followed by our signature laser shows celebrating the ’90s and the debut of our new 2000s laser show.
Bring your friends and come early before your laser show experience. Refreshments and light snacks will be available for purchase in the Main Atrium until 10 p.m. Share your favorite photos and moments with us on social media at @frostscience.
At Phoebe Bridgers’ request, the Lost Weekend Planetarium Experience will be a phone- and camera-free experience to create a fully immersive listening environment. Upon entry, all phones, smartwatches and cameras will be secured in Yondr pouches that remain with guests throughout the show and can be unlocked after the experience concludes.

Cost: Lost Weekend Planetarium Experience: $25. That ’90s Show and That ’00s Show: $15 per adult; $12 per child (ages 4-11)* Members receive a 20% discount on all Laser Evening shows. Must be logged-in to member account to receive discount. The Lost Weekend Planetarium Experience is not included in the Member discount.
Lost Weekend Planetarium Experience
Ahead of its worldwide release day, on August 14 via Dead Oceans, Phoebe Bridgers’ newest album Lost Weekend will debut in full inside planetariums around the globe.
The listening session is paired with the album with a unique immersive laser show designed by Laser Fantasy. The presentation will offer their own atmospheric perspective that turns your first listen into a shared sonic and visual experience.
Note: This is not a performance, and Phoebe Bridgers will not be in attendance.

That ’90s Show
Back before the Y2K bug was the thing that wasn’t a thing, and while the internet was just getting started, the 1990s introduced some truly memorable music. Experience the grunge and pop sensations that shaped the soundscape prior to the millennium, in the most appropriate way… with lasers of course.
That ’00s Show
Take a trip back to a simpler time, before algorithms or spotify, a time when your mom picking up the phone would interrupt your download of the new Black Eyed Peas album, a trip to the early 2000s and the iconic songs that made that decade so memorable. Experience classic hits from Beyonce, Outkast, Lady Gaga, and other titans of the era while refusing to acknowledge the passage of time!
Refreshments and light snacks will be available for purchase in the Main Atrium until 10 p.m.
Onsite parking is available in the museum garage for $8 flat rate starting at 6:00 p.m. on all Laser Evenings. All cars must exit garage by 12:00 a.m. Member parking discount does not apply.
*Each Laser Evening show must be purchased separately; online sales for laser shows go offline an hour before showtime but can be purchased onsite up to 15 minutes before start of laser show. Laser show admission includes laser glasses. Admission to laser shows does not include museum admission. Museum exhibitions close at 6:00 p.m.
