Museum Volunteers for the Environment (MUVE) hosts monthly volunteer workdays for anyone who is passionate about restoring Miami’s natural environment, and on Saturday, May 16, we’re inviting Frost Science members to join us as part of Member Appreciation Month!

On Saturday, May 16, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., Frost Science members are invited to join MUVE in enhancing our coastal habitat through nature-based volunteerism at Crandon Park North (6767 Crandon Blvd.) on Key Biscayne, in partnership with Miami-Dade County’s Miami EcoAdventures. We will be planting native species and cleaning the beach. All tools and materials will be provided. We recommend a reusable water bottle, closed-toe shoes, sun and bug protection, and clothes you don’t mind getting dirty. This is a great opportunity to connect with other Frost Science members and the Membership team. It’s time to #GetMuving!

Registration is required by Thursday, May 14. Participants under 14 years of age must be accompanied by an adult. Participants under 18 years of age must have signed waiver by parent or legal guardian. Must be logged in to membership account to register.

Please wear sun protection, bug protection, closed-toed shoes, and clothes you don’t mind getting dirty. All materials, water, and snacks will be provided. We encourage you to bring your reusable water bottle.
