How to Die in Space: An Interactive Adventure Through the Cosmos is an original production from Frost Science Studios, bringing a bold, live, choose-your-own-adventure experience to the Frost Planetarium. Guests take charge of a doomed mission through the universe, making real-time decisions that often lead to hilariously catastrophic outcomes.

Based on the book by astrophysicist, author, and science communicator Dr. Paul M. Sutter, the show blends humor, suspense, and a touch of sarcasm to explore the science behind cosmic hazards. From black holes and supernovas to rogue planets and radiation, each twist of fate transforms disaster into discovery, revealing just how strange and unforgiving the universe can be.

The production features a dynamic audio experience developed with the Frost School of Music at the University of Miami, including an original score by student composer Jacey Schell. Additional creative contributions from the University of Miami Frost Institute for Data Science and Computing enhance the visuals and overall experience inside the dome.

Showtime: Approximately 25 minutes. Please arrive 15 minutes before showtime.

No admittance after Frost Planetarium doors close. No food, drink or strollers allowed inside.
