Maria Espinoza serves as the Director of Marketing and Public Affairs at Frost Science, where she leads integrated marketing, communications, and advocacy efforts to expand the museum’s visibility, attendance and community impact. In her role, she collaborates across all internal departments and with external stakeholders to advance public affairs initiatives and strengthen brand awareness across the museum’s diverse programming. Espinoza also oversees multi-channel campaigns spanning paid, earned, owned, and social media platforms, while advising operational leadership to ensure meaningful engagement with priority audiences that align with the museum’s mission.
Prior to joining Frost Science, Espinoza built a career in public relations and community outreach while working as a consultant for agencies in South Florida. She supported government, private, and nonprofit clients by developing communications strategies, managing stakeholder engagement, and implementing targeted outreach initiatives. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in public relations from the University of Florida.
