This Sweepstakes is intended for viewing and participation in the 50 United States and the District of Columbia (“U.S.”) only and shall only be construed and evaluated according to U.S. law. Do not enter this Sweepstakes if you are not, at the time of entry (i) a legal U.S. resident located in the U.S., and (ii) age 18 or older. Sweepstakes begins at approximately 9:30 a.m. (EST) on May 1, 2018 and ends at 5:30 p.m. (EST) on May 31, 2018.
How to Enter this Sweepstakes:
You can enter the Sweepstakes via two different entry methods:
(a) Beginning on May 1, 2018 and on each day thereafter through and including May 31, 2018, all Members of Frost Science may enter the Sweepstakes by visiting the Museum’s Member and Guest Relations Desk, located on the Atrium Level of the Museum, and complete a Sweepstakes entry form. Each day’s entries are eligible to win the prize awarded on that day only. Each day’s entries are due by the earlier of (i) 5:30pm (EST) or (ii) the closing time of the Museum on that day. No mechanically reproduced entries will be accepted.
(b) Mail a postcard (no smaller than 3½” x 5” and no larger than 4 ¼ x 6”) which includes your (i) name, (ii) mailing address, and (iii) valid e-mail address to Member Appreciation Sweepstakes, Frost Science, 1101 Biscayne Boulevard, Miami, FL, 33132. Postcards will be entered in the daily drawing on the day they are received at Frost Science.
Entry Form:
Participants must complete the entry form and provide a valid e-mail address. Sponsor is not responsible for any entry errors or failures, regardless of whether they are human or technical in nature. Sponsor is also not responsible for incorrect or inaccurate entry of information, whether caused by Internet users, or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Sweepstakes, or by any technical or human error that may occur in the processing of the entries in the Sweepstakes. Sponsor is not responsible for any lost or misdelivered mailed entries. In the event of a dispute regarding the individual who actually submitted an entry with regard to a family membership, the entry will be deemed submitted by the person in whose name the Museum membership is registered.
All requested information must be completed to enter. No purchase is necessary to claim a prize. Limit (a) one Sweepstakes entry form per membership household or one postcard per person per day for daily drawing and (b) one entry per membership household that entered the daily sweepstakes or person entering the daily sweepstakes by postcard for Grand Prize drawings. By entering, all participants agree to be bound by the official rules of these Sweepstakes. For a copy of the official rules, send a self-addressed stamped envelope to Member Appreciation Sweepstakes, Official Rules, Frost Science, 1101 Biscayne Boulevard, Miami, Florida 33132, by May 31, 2018. Vermont residents may omit return postage.
Eligibility:
This Sweepstakes is open only to individuals who, at the time of entry, are (i) legal U.S. residents located in the U.S., and (ii) age 18 and older. Employees, officers, and trustees of Museum of Science, Inc., and its onsite vendors, and advertising and promotion agencies, as well as the immediate family members and/or persons living in the same households of each, are not eligible for this Sweepstakes. This Sweepstakes is void where prohibited.
Drawings:
One (1) daily winner chosen from each day’s eligible entries from May 1-May 31, 2018 will be selected in a random drawing conducted on the following day. Three (3) Grand Prize winners will be chosen in a random drawing on June 8, 2018. Thirty-four winners (thirty-one daily winners and three grand prize winners) will be chosen in all. Judges’ decisions are final and binding in all matters relating to the Sweepstakes. ODDS OF WINNING ARE BASED UPON THE NUMBER OF ELIGIBLE ENTRIES RECEIVED EACH DAY OF THE SWEEPSTAKES. Winners will be notified by e-mail. Local winners (winners located within 75 miles of the Museum) will be responsible for picking up their prize in person.

Daily Prize
Thirty-one daily winners chosen from each day’s entries received on May 1-May 31, 2018 will receive the daily prize designated for that day, either (a) a 3-Month Membership Extension to the existing membership (non-members will be offered a 3-month family membership) (approximately $40 value); (b) an animal plush (approximately $20 value); or (c) a Frost Science baseball cap (approximately $25 value) (a schedule of prizes can be found at the end of these Official Rules). Approximate retail value of daily prizes is $930.
Grand Prizes
Three grand prize winners will be chosen on June 1, 2018.
First Grand Prize: Private VIP Tour for up to four (4) people with animal encounter and lunch (approximate value ($900)
Second Grand Prize; Four (4) tickets to a Frost Science Overnight Adventure (approximate value $320)

Waiver, Release, and Indemnity:
By entering the Sweepstakes, participants agree to release and indemnify Museum of Science, Inc., and its retailers, distributors, advertising, and promotion agencies, as well as its and each of their respective directors, trustees, officers, employees, and shareholders, from any and all liability, loss, damage, or injuries of any kind sustained in connection with their participation in the Sweepstakes or from their acceptance, receipt, possession, and/or use or misuse of any prize, or for any typographical or other error in the printing, offering, or announcement of any prize.
IN NO EVENT WILL ANY OF THE FOREGOING ENTITIES OR INDIVIDUALS BE RESPONSIBLE OR LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES OR LOSSES OF ANY KIND, INCLUDING DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF YOUR ACCESS TO AND USE OF THE SWEEPSTAKES OR THE DOWNLOADING FROM AND/OR PRINTING MATERIAL DOWNLOADED FROM THE SWEEPSTAKES. SOME JURISDICTIONS MAY NOT ALLOW THE LIMITATIONS OR EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OR EXCLUSION OF IMPLIED WARRANTIES SO SOME OF THE ABOVE LIMITATIONS OR EXCLUSIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU. Participants further acknowledge that said parties have neither made nor are in any manner responsible or liable for any warranty, representation, or guarantee expressed or implied, in fact or in law, relative to any prize, including, but not limited to, its quality or fitness for a particular purpose.
Publicity Release:
By accepting a prize, each winner agrees to the use of his/her name, likeness, voice, and/or biographical information by Sponsor, or any party authorized by Sponsor, for advertising and promotional purposes, without additional compensation, except where prohibited by law. Entries become the property of the Sponsor and will not be returned.
Applicable Law; Arbitration:
This Sweepstakes is governed by U.S. law and is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. Void where prohibited by law. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of entrant and Sponsor in connection with this Sweepstakes, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the State of Florida without giving effect to the conflict of laws, and any matters or proceedings which are not subject to arbitration as set forth in these rule and/or for entering any judgment on an arbitration award, shall take place in the State of Florida, in the City of Miami.
The parties waive all rights to trial in any action or proceeding instituted in connection with these Official Rules and/or this Sweepstakes. Any controversy or claim arising out of or relating to these Official Rules and/or this Sweepstakes shall be settled by binding arbitration in accordance with the commercial arbitration rules of the American Arbitration Association. Any such controversy or claim shall be arbitrated on an individual basis and shall not be consolidated in any arbitration with any claim or controversy of any other party. The arbitration shall be conducted in the State of Florida, in the City of Miami, and judgment on the arbitration award may be entered into any court having jurisdiction thereof.
If any provisions of these Official Rules are determined by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid or unenforceable, such determination shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision.
General:
All taxes and any other fees or costs associated with the Prizes are the sole responsibility of the winner. The Prizes are nontransferable, and no substitutions or cash redemptions will be made, except as provided herein. In the event a Prize is unavailable, Sponsor reserves the right to award a prize of equal or greater value. The winners will be required to sign and return an affidavit of eligibility and a liability and publicity release within 5 calendar days of the date when such documents are sent to winner, or prize will be forfeited and awarded to an alternate winner. The Prizes will be awarded to verified winners.
In the event of noncompliance with these Official Rules, if a winner cannot be reached at the e-mail address in winner’s entry form within 5 calendar days of the first attempt, or if the prize or prize notification is returned as unclaimed or undeliverable, the particular prize will be forfeited, and an alternate winner will be selected.
Sponsor is not responsible for any damage to a participant’s system that is occasioned by participating in this Sweepstakes or by downloading any information necessary to participate in the promotion.
Sponsor assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, theft, or destruction, or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries. Entries that have been tampered with are void. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any participant who Sponsor determines, in its sole discretion, has threatened the operation of this Sweepstakes or website, or violates these Official Rules. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel or suspend this Sweepstakes should viruses, bugs, or other causes beyond Sponsor’s control corrupt the administration, security, or proper play of this Sweepstakes. All federal, state, and local laws apply.
