At this very moment, thousands of scientists around the globe are working towards solutions to the unprecedented crisis caused by COVID-19. Their early curiosity and passion for science were likely sparked by visits to institutions like Frost Science, where science communication and education are always in the spotlight. In times like these, investment in science is more crucial than ever.

As a nonprofit educational institution, our business model relies heavily on admission and event revenue. With the museum closed for what will likely be an extended period of time due to the virus, there is an immediate financial stress on the organization. Your support is needed, particularly under these challenging and extraordinary circumstances. We understand now is a trying time for all and we appreciate any help you can provide. All donations, however small, will have an immediate impact.

At this time, we are asking for donations to help us:

  • Continue to care for and feed our animals
  • Offer virtual Frost Science@Home programming so we can continue to serve as an educational resource
  • Maintain the safety of our building

Did you know?

Frost Science is home to 13,261 animals, across 368 species.
Monthly cost to feed them: $8,000
Monthly cost of veterinary care: $1,200

Help us care for our sharks, stingrays, birds, fish and our loggerhead turtle Miko, among others, during this difficult time.
