AI: More Than Human, now open at Frost Science, invites you to explore artificial intelligence not just as a tool, but as a mirror. Through interactive installations, immersive art, and hands-on science, the exhibition takes you on a journey into the origins, realities, and futures of AI.
In a world where machines can generate images, imitate voices, and finish your sentences, we return to the oldest questions: What does it mean to be alive? What does it mean to think? Can life be created?
Before ChatGPT helped you write an email, before Midjourney turned your imagination into visuals, before Siri told you the weather, there was a dream.
The first chapter of this new exhibition, The Dream of AI, explores the origin of that dream: humanity’s age-old desire to give life to machines. Rooted in mythology, spiritual traditions, and early mathematics, this section invites visitors to explore how different cultures imagined intelligence long before the arrival of computers.
Here you will meet the Golem, a figure from Jewish folklore brought to life by sacred text. You will encounter Japanese Shinto objects believed to hold spirits. And you will discover how early scientists and storytellers laid the foundation for the technologies of today.
These are not just stories from the past. They live with us. Visitors are invited to step into the role of co-creator through interactive displays and responsive installations. From myth to machine, the exhibit is alive. It learns from you. It reacts. It asks for your input, your attention, and your imagination.
Artificial intelligence today can be poetic, powerful, or problematic, but it is always personal. It shapes the media we consume, the maps we follow, and the way we connect with the world.
To continue the conversation beyond the walls of the museum, our Science Stories: AI Corner on the Frost Science website will spotlight how scientists are using AI in their research and daily work. From tracking wildlife migration patterns to modeling climate change, these digital features will explore the real-world applications of artificial intelligence and the people behind the progress—offering a deeper dive into the questions and innovations shaping our future.
At Frost Science, AI: More Than Human is more than an exhibition. It is an invitation. To explore. To question. To play. And to reflect on the evolving relationship between human beings and the intelligence we are building.
We invite you to visit, interact, and imagine what comes next.
