1. What types of memberships do you offer and how much do they cost?

Frost Science offers five different levels of membership:

Individual PLUS – $109 (one adult + one guest)
Family – $189 (two adults, four kids)
Family PLUS – $229 (two adults, four kids + two guests)
Family PLUS Premier – $279 (three adults, four kids + two guests)
Young Patron Individual – $159 (one adult + two guests)
Young Patron Dual – $249 (two adults + two guests each)

2. How do I purchase a membership?

Three easy ways:

3. If I purchase a membership today online, how do I get into the museum?

Simply present your picture ID upon arrival at our museum Ticket Center or Member/Guest Relations office and a guest ambassador will look you up in our system. For online enrollments, you may also present a printed transaction confirmation.

4. When will my membership expire?

Memberships expire 12 months after they are purchased, on the last day of the month.

5. How do I give a membership as a gift to someone else?

To purchase a gift membership, please click here. You may also purchase a gift membership at the Member/Guest Relations office.

6. Can I apply a general admission ticket purchase toward a membership?

Yes, tickets may be applied towards a membership on the same day as the visit. You may only apply adult and child tickets for those persons who will be listed on the membership.

7. When will I receive my membership cards?

Membership cards will be sent to you within three weeks of enrollment.

8. How many membership cards will I receive?

Each named adult on the account will receive a personalized membership card. Children and eligible guests must accompany a named member.

9. Why doesn’t my membership card list an expiration date?

Your membership card is permanent and will be renewed and extended in our system each year as long as the membership remains current.

10. I forgot my card at home…how can I enter the museum?

You may present your picture ID at the Member/Guest Relations desk and we can look you up in our system.

11. I never received/lost my membership cards…what should I do?

Please contact us at membership@frostscience.org or call 305-434-9554 to request replacement cards. A guest ambassador onsite at the Member/Guest Relations desk can also assist.

12. Can I let a friend or family member not listed on my membership use my card?

Membership cards are non-transferrable. However, there are a number of membership levels that allow guests to accompany the membership cardholder on each visit.

13. What museum attractions are included with my membership?

Members receive complimentary admission to all museum exhibitions and one Frost Planetarium show per visit for each person and guest(s) listed on the membership level. Members receive discounted admission to special exhibitions, when applicable.

14. How do I log-in to the museum’s website?

You may register as a new user by clicking here. For existing members logging-in for the first time, please enter your email address associated with your account and click ‘Forgot Password?’.

15. How do I reserve Frost Planetarium tickets in advance?

Members may reserve a Frost Planetarium show time by logging into their online account and selecting their visit day and preferred time (subject to availability).

16. How do I avoid the line and get in faster?

You may plan your visit in advance by visiting www.frostscience.org/tickets. Please indicate that you are a Member, log-in to the site and select your date, party size and show times. Digital barcoded tickets will be issued for admission and the Planetarium show for each person in your party. You may either print the tickets or present them on a mobile device at the museum’s entry doors and avoid the ticket lines.

17. Can I purchase discounted admission tickets with my membership?

Unfortunately, we cannot offer our members discounted admission tickets but we’re thrilled when members make regular use of their guest admission privileges. However, you are entitled to a 10% discount in the museum café and gift shop.

18. How do I get my member discount on Laser Friday shows and/or other programming?

Members receive a 20% discount on Laser Friday evening shows scheduled on the third Friday of every month. To receive the member discount, simply purchase tickets while logged in to your membership account. No promo code necessary! If you think something is not quite right or changing in price, feel free to call us at 305-434-9554.

19. Can I use my membership for admission to other museums?

Yes, as a member you will receive free or discounted admission to more than 360 partner science centers (ASTC Passport Travel Program).

20. Do members receive a discount in the parking garage?

Paid self-parking is available in the museum garage during regular museum hours (space limited). Rates are $8 for the first hour and $4 for each additional hour. (Max daily rate of $40). Frost Science members receive a $4 discount on parking. Guests must take their tickets and pay at the stations located near the Knight Plaza elevator or at the bottom of the garage entry ramp. Members must bring their ticket to the Member and Guest Relations Desk for the discount validation before paying at the stations.

22. How do I change my address or update my contact information?

After logging into the Frost Science website, click on your name in the upper right-hand corner. You may then edit your contact information. You may also send updates via email to the membership department at membership@frostscience.org or notify a guest ambassador onsite at the Member/Guest Relations office when you visit.

23. How do I upgrade my membership to a higher level?

At renewal time, you may select a higher membership level when submitting payment online or by mail. During your membership cycle, a mid-year upgrade may be completed at the Member/Guest Relations onsite office or by calling the membership department at 305-434-9554. The cost for a mid-year upgrade will be the difference in cost from your current level to the higher level. Benefits for the upgraded level will be available immediately, however your current expiration date will remain the same (membership cycle will not be extended).

24. How do I renew my membership?

For your convenience, your Frost Science membership will automatically renew one year after your membership begins (on the last day of the month in which your membership began) and will continue to renew on each anniversary of your renewal date thereafter. If you want to inquire about our auto-renewal program or want to confirm your membership renewal, please contact membership@frostscience.org.

25. What if I don’t want to auto-renew my membership?

Please contact us at membership@frostscience.org to opt-out of the automatic renewal program. You will then receive normal renewal notices via mail and email prior to your expiration date.
