Take the plunge with special activities for Member Morning during World Ocean Day Presented by the Miami DDA.

On Sunday, June 4, members are invited to dive into a morning of hands-on activities and learn about the work Frost Science and local conservationists are doing to save our coral reefs, protect our coastlines, and raise awareness about the importance of clean, healthy oceans.

Members will enjoy:

  • An up-close look at the inner workings of a squid during a squid dissection.)
  • Crafting their own jewelry or keychain from lionfish fins, an invasive species to Florida waters.
  • The opportunity to create and decorate their own upcycled t-shirt tote bag.
  • A special meet-and-greet with SECORE International researchers who are collaborating with Frost Science to study how we can best raise and care for corals and bring them back to the wild.
