Bringing more than 30 years of administrative, operational and legal experience to Frost Science, Neil Kurlander is responsible for the overall leadership of museum administration, including finance, strategic business planning/analysis, risk management, human resources and legal.
Prior to joining the museum, Kurlander was the chief administrative officer and general counsel of Spafinder Wellness, Inc., the world’s largest media, marketing and gifting company for the wellness industry, where he oversaw Spafinder’s finance, human resources, customer and partner solutions, corporate governance and legal functions. Kurlander also served as vice president, corporate legal affairs, for Horsehead Industries, Inc., a “Fortune” 500 global manufacturing company, where he played a major role in the consummation of more than $1 billion in corporate financings, mergers and acquisitions and other commercial transactions. He has also practiced corporate law at some of the largest law firms in New York City.
Kurlander received his Bachelor of Arts from Franklin & Marshall College, where he was elected to Pi Gamma Mu, the international honor society in social sciences, and earned his Juris Doctor from the Hofstra University School of Law, where he was a member of the Hofstra Law Review.
