A goal of Frost Science is to share the power of science with as many people as possible, and as effectively as possible. To do so we’ve dedicated ourselves to research partnerships and youth programs, and earned an international reputation for excellence in this regard. Our projects focus on expanding access to science learning among traditionally underrepresented groups, early childhood hands-on science, and professional development on inclusive, inquiry-based science education. We partner with schools, universities, research institutions and other museums to develop, evaluate and scale innovative approaches and best practices. Much of our work is funded by some of the nation’s most prestigious federal agencies, including the National Science Foundation, the National Institute of Health, the U.S. Department of Education, U.S. Department of Energy and others. Our projects have won repeated national recognition, including two Presidential Awards. More importantly, through rigorous research and evaluation, we know that our projects create opportunity, build capacity and change lives.
CHISPA
A collaboration between Frost Science, the UnidosUS, formerly National Council of La Raza, the ASPIRA Association and 10 other science museums, CHISPA worked to increase the engagement of Hispanic children and their families with science.
Move2Learn
Move2Learn is an international collaboration of informal science educators and learning science researchers that aspires to understand the role of embodied interaction in young children’s learning about science.

Upward Bound Math and Science (UBMS) is an award-winning program preparing under-resourced teens for STEM higher education and careers.
