Fact: Frost Science is celebrating its one year anniversary on May 8.
Yet, another fact: Our members are a very important reason why!
Throughout the year, our members have enjoyed sneak-peeks of our newest exhibitions and countless members-only mornings and evenings filled with an awesome roster of animal encounters, demos, discussions, discounts and treats.
In honor of the community who has supported our mission from the start, we’ve dedicated the entire month of May to member appreciation. What does that mean for our members? Plenty of perks and gifts, like…
A Bonus Month of Membership
All renewals from May 1-31 will receive a 1-month bonus added to their membership expiration date. That’s an extra month of exploring the thrilling new special exhibitions we have slated for the museum, like The Power of Poison: From the Depths of the Sea to Your Own Backyard (opening May 26, 2018) and Creatures of Light: Nature’s Bioluminescence (fall 2018).
Pro-tip: Membership prices will be increasing on June 1, so be sure to take advantage of the current rates and bonus month offer by renewing in May!
A Winner Every Day
Frost Science members can enter a sweepstakes every day they visit the museum during May. You can win an additional three months of membership or an assortment of exclusive Frost Science swag. Remember: members always receive free admission to Frost Science.
Free Overnights, Laser Shows and More
We’re going out with a bang! At the end of the month, we’ll be hosting a grand prize drawing for everyone who entered the sweepstakes during May. Prizes will include four complimentary tickets to an upcoming Frost Science Overnight Adventure, ten complimentary tickets to the Laser Friday show of your choice or a VIP lunch tour with an animal encounter and gift bag for up to four people.
But we’re not done, yet.
Mark your calendar for a very special members-only preview of our largest exhibition to date! On Friday, May 25, from 6:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., members are invited to experience The Power of Poison: From the Depths of the Sea to Your Own Backyard*. From the rooftop to the depths of our Aquarium, members will explore poison’s role in nature, human health and myth, through encounters with poisonous and venomous species, a stroll through Colombia’s Chocó Forest and whimsical literary exhibits. Afterwards, we’ll be launching our newest Spark of Science demo and converting the MeLaβ into a DJ dance party.
While it’s been a wonderful first year, we’re just getting started. We’ve got plenty of blockbuster exhibitions and science-themed surprises planned for the 365 days ahead. The best is yet to come!
